Transhumanist Questions that need answered by 2050

Goal: to complete an accurate prediction of the future, using current philosophies and strategic methods of projecting ideas to create a Utopian scenario for humanity in the time after the Singularity.

Throughout history, mankind’s standing on the Earth has been far from Utopian. War, poverty, greed and ignorance have so far stood the test of time and remain ever present in today’s society.

Topics we need to discuss in our prediction:

1. Biological Enhancement, [Nanobot technology, bioengineering]

2. Economy, the future of Cryptocurrencies [eg. doge/bitcoin] and fiat capital

3. Transportation, hypersonic travel, progress towards a connected world and space colonies

4. Commercial space tourism e.g. Virgin Galactic, NASA, Mars One

5. Social/Media, e.g Personalized search engines, AI advertisements etc

6. Radicals[hippies] anti-tech groups, uprising, protests.- Dystopian.

7. Technology/Robo Ethics

8. Future of the Entertainment Industry [music, movies, videogames, theatre]

e.g. Immersive VR, Augmented reality, mixed reality,

9. Fashion. - Carbon nanotube fibres, claytronics, nanomaterials and hydrophobic fabric

10. Drug culture - Newly synthesized opiates

11. Politics, Government, Law enforcement, Military

12. Human/species/synthetics equality - upregulation of animal intelligence, new laws relating to equality amongst higher mammals

25. Evolution of Language [eg. Type I civilization language “English”]. Shortening of sentences, efficiency of communication in a fast paced world. Digital Telepathy.

Interplanetary Government System/United Planet Federation (think we should talk about the mars and moon colony, not wanting to be under the jurisdiction of earths governmental [NASA] law of ethics. I think the people of those planets will want their own system. I am sure that is true, they will form some sort of colonial government, not enforced by earth’s.)

27. Consciousness and it’s implications in the future, (can also speak about dream recording and shared dreaming and such in this)
